Drink Driving / Drug Driving Offences

If you have been charged or face a potential alcohol related charge, whether it be drink driving, drunk in charge or driving whilst under the influence of drugs, this is likely to be a very frightening time for you and your future may be hanging in the balance.

 

Under the Road Traffic Act 1988, the prosecution will have to prove that you were driving or in charge of a motor vehicle on a road or public place whilst unfit through drink or drugs. You will have probably provided a road-side breath test which has tested positive and been required to provide ‘evidential’ samples at the police station.
